STAND Regional Board
The STAND Board is comprised of a selected group of 9th-12th graders that are chosen by Mirror staff to represent their town's STAND program.
Please note that the STAND Board would be an extra time commitment above and beyond the school team and a limited number of students from each STAND school are selected each year to participate.
Board members will have opportunities to:
- Work with a group of other passionate teen leaders from across our region on reducing substance use, boosting mental health, and spreading positivity
- Further develop your leadership skills
- Network with community leaders
- Act as the face of STAND
- Take the lead in your school's STAND club
- Represent your town during monthly Regional Board meetings
- Create STAND-wide messaging and campaigns that will be adopted by all STAND clubs
- Use your voice and influence to help direct the entire STAND initiative
If you have any questions before applying, you may reach out to Rachael Engledowl, STAND Coordinator, at rengledowl@mirrorinc.org
Applications are due by May 31st, 2023.
