Yvonne Lesicko, Ohio Farm Bureau’s vice president of public policy, passed away June 18, 2020. Yvonne was known for her energy, enthusiasm, humor and ability to connect with all types of people. Her many personal and professional relationships span from Washington, D.C. to her Worthington neighborhood -- many called her a friend.
“Yvonne was full of life, loved her husband Scott, son Oscar and all of her family and friends with the enthusiasm she approached all things,” said Adam Sharp, Ohio Farm Bureau’s executive vice president.”
Lesicko began her career at Farm Bureau in 1994. Since 2012, she managed OFBF’s legislative and regulatory team and represented the interests of Farm Bureau members with Congress, the General Assembly and with federal and state regulatory agencies.
In her honor, Yvonne’s family has established the Yvonne Lesicko Memorial Fund with the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation. This fund was established to support the causes and initiatives that she cared so deeply about, including but not limited to, farmer mental health, women in leadership, agricultural and environmental policy and youth scholarships.
