SFLA PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS

Studio for the Living Arts Dance Complex offers both private one-on-one lessons (1 student) and occasionally we offer semi-private lessons for 2-6 students if needed. Private lessons are a wonderful chance to fine-tune your technique and performance quality, perfect or attain an acro skill, gain strength and flexibility, or learn a new leap or turn. Because our teacher will have a lot more time to work with you individually, this will accelerate your progress.

All private lessons by our faculty take place onsite at our studios located at 21 Portland Rd. in the Gray Shopping Plaza. We offer private and semi-private lessons in all dance genres: Ballet, Pointe,Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Acro. Our faculty also offers Leaps,Turns, Conditioning, Flexibility lessons, Acting Coaching, and Faculty Advisory for College or Summer Intensive Videos and/or Resume Preparation.

All Private Technique classes are booked through the office using this "JOT FORM". If you wish to request a private class, please complete below and select "submit" at the bottom of the form. Our Office Administrator will then forward your booking request to the instructor requested. The instructor will confirm your request and time via email or messenger and your slot will be confirmed on our booking calendar. Instructions for making payment will be included. **

Private Class Cancellations: When you schedule a private lesson, you are reserving that slot of your instructor’s time and the studio space. We understand things come up, but we need at least 24 hours to attempt to fill your slot. Please contact your instructor directly to cancel in writing via email or fb messenger. Do not leave a voice mail on the studio machine as it may not be delivered in time.

To cancel a lesson without being charged for the lesson, you must notify the instructor at least 24 hours before your lesson starts (for example, if your scheduled lesson starts at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, you must contact the instructor before 7 p.m. on Tuesday). If you must cancel within the 24-hour period, you will be charged for the lesson in full. "No-shows" are also charged in full.
