  • "PARK RENTAL REQUEST FORM" must be completed and approved by Becker Community Center Staff before this form may be completed by renter.  Rental fee must be paid to secure your reservation.  Payment may be made at the Becker Community Center Front Desk, mailed in, or by credit card over the phone.  Damage Deposit of $25 must be paid in check form

  • The City Park Shelter is a heated and air-conditioned building. There are restrooms located inside of the building. There are tables and chairs in the shelter for approximately 120 people. There is a kitchen area that includes a refrigerator, sink, microwave & coffee pot (coffee not provided). There is a charcoal grill outside of the building.

    The City Park has a Frisbee Golf Course (bring your own discs or rent them at the BCC), playground equipment and hiking trails. There are horse shoe pits (horse shoes are located in the cupboard in the kitchen).

    City Park is mowed as needed on a regular basis.

  • The City Park is a public area and the rental is only for the shelter facilities.  By signing the following rental agreement, the renter agrees to abide by all requirements and accepts all responsibility for any damages that may occur.

    • The shelter reservation is not official until this rental agreement has been completed and the rental fee and damage deposit have been paid.  Renters are encouraged to secure a confirmed reservation as soon as possible.
    • Shelter rental is non-refundable, and there are no exceptions to this policy.  Renter may reschedule date of shelter reservation (if done at least one month in advance of reservation) if space is available. 
    • Renters are permitted to use the shelter for the time agreed upon in the rental contract.  Park hours are from 6:00am-10:00pm.
    • Renters must be at least eighteen years of age and the event must be supervised by a responsible adult eighteen years of age or older at all times.
    • Renters are prohibited from using the park shelter for personal or commercial profit or gain, or for events for which an admission will be charged (without written approval from the City).  Please contact us for information regarding a Special Event Use Application.
    • Renters are responsible for the conduct of guests during the rental period.  Any public nuisance may, at the discretion of law enforcement, be grounds for ejection from the facilities. 
    • Parking is permitted in designated areas only. Parking along the side of the road as well as overnight parking is prohibited.
    • Shelter must be left in clean and orderly condition, belongings removed, and trash put in the containers that are provided.  Please bag up trash at the end of your rental and take outside to the dumpster.  Key for the dumpster is on a long stick in the kitchen area. Tables and chairs are to be set up and taken down by the renter.  
    • No confetti or glitter is to be used in the park shelter.  Damage deposit may be forfieted if confetti or glitter is used during your rental.
    • The damage deposit will be refunded by mail within two weeks if the premises are left in the same condition as they were found prior to the rental.
    • It is unlawful for any person to consume, or possess in an unsealed container, any Alcoholic Beverage on any  (1) City park, (2) street, (3) public property, or (4) private parking lot to which the public has access, except on such premises when and where permission has been specifically granted or licensed by the City Council.
