Description:

We will start at the Rec Hall for a short powerpoint presentation and instructional mini-demo by Carl. We will then relocate to a nearby spot in town or in the park for a group nocturne paint-out with personal instruction.

What to bring:

• Sketch/notepad and pencil
• Painting supplies, including small panels like 6x8 or 8x10
• A range of paint colors across the spectrum, ideally with two yellows, two reds, and two blues (see my palette below)
• Clip-on nocturne light or headlamp. Carl's preference is a warm-cool adjustable nocturne painting light such as a Vekkia clip-on piano light or plein air light from Artescape.us.

Where to meet:

• Meet at Rec Hall for presentation before going out to paint.
