• Menifee Pony Baseball 2020 Refund Form (covid-19 shortened season)   ONE FORM PER PLAYER


    Dear MPB Parents,

    Thank-you for your patience with everything in this very unusual 2020 spring "season".  We know it took quite a long time for us to make the end of the season official, but there are very important reasons for that.  One, we know that so many of you (and us) did really want to see our kids get the chance to finish out this season.  Two, having to cancel the season just after everything has been paid for but without being able to complete our annual League Fundraiser really puts us in a huge financial bind.  The League Fundraiser is actually designed to pay for part of your registration fees.  Either you paid the additional "opt-out" fee, or you participated by selling raffle tickets.  100% is that income is considered registration income to us, in the sense that it is structured to cover registration fees, which are intended to cover actual league costs.  Without the League Fundraiser, we'd either have to raise all registration fees approximately $55 each, or we'd actually lose money each year, which is what we're doing this year.  The amount we've lost this year to the lack of not having the League Fundraiser alone is right about $35,000.  Luckily we do prepare for bad situations and do have that in the league bank account, but not by much at all.  We just didn't come up with the scenario of possibly having to shut down the entire season due to pandemic.  I guess now we know.

  • MPB LEAGUE FUNDRAISER REFUND
    Once again, our league operates on money received from registration fees, which does include in the spring season the annual League Fundraiser. Our expenses are then budgeted accordingly. 

    • Refund of $40 to all those who paid the $40 opt-out fee at registration.
    • No refunds  to those who participated in the League Fundraiser by selling tickets ( please return money to those you sold tickets to ).  
    • Refund due per ticket sold and money was turned in to league already ( *see below ).  

    * If you already bought or sold some or all of our tickets yourself AND turned in the money to the league, you can get a refund for the money paid to the league.  We may require those ticket stubs to be turned in to us for proof of payment. A receipt or us finding proof of payment in our own records would work for this too.  

  • ATTENTION!  Incorrect information below WILL cause additional processing delays so please READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and double check your answers.  All information related to refund amount will be confirmed before we can send it out too. Thank-you!

    REFUNDS for the Division Fee portion of your registration will be handled as a credit towards the Fall 2020 season (should we have one) or the Spring 2021 season.  To redeem this credit though, you MUST REGISTER by August 20 for the Fall 2020 season, or December 15 for the Spring 2021 season. REFUNDS for the League Fundraiser portion of your registration will be refunded by check or electronic payment.

    Menifee PONY, Incorporated is a California non-profit corporation and an IRS designated non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Our Tax I.D. No. is 46-1124865. We have been a PONY Baseball/Softball, Inc. affiliated organization since 2001.

    As such, your donation is tax deductable. If you would like to receive a receipt for your donation just reply to your thank-you email that you will receive once you submit this form, and let our Treasurer know you would like a receipt for tax donation.
