The South End Arts + Business Association (aka SEABA) is a small non-profit arts organization with a mission to cultivate the connections between art and business to grow and preserve the vibrant, creative community of the South End Arts District through signature events, marketing and advocacy.
The South End Art Hop is a celebration of all that the South End Arts District has to offer. Taking place the weekend after Labor Day each September, the event is now in its 28th year and is a wonderful outlet for the community to come together and recognize the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of the South End of Burlington, Vermont.
The South End Arts District, begins on the South side of Main Street, down along Pine Street and surrounding streets, and ends at Home Avenue. Various artist studios, galleries, vintage shops, breweries, restaurants, and independent businesses all open their doors to the community to showcase their unique wares and art for purchase. The Art Hop hosts scheduled events throughout the weekend, though exploring is encouraged. The goal is to enlighten visitors to new artists and businesses to support and we hope that you will return again year-round!
