  • Working members are an integral part of our Co-op's operations.  Working members assist paid staff in store operations, and receive a discount of 12% at the register. For more information about member discounts and perks visit the member page of our website.

    This form is for use only by members who have participated in working member orientation.  If you have not participated in working member orientation but are interested in becoming a working member, please click here to let us know.

    Some in-store shifts require special training. Please only sign up for the Register, Cheese cutting or Wednesday delivery helper shifts if you have been trained and assigned to one of those specific jobs. Scroll down to find sign-ups for specific jobs. Otherwise, please select the "In-store Working Shift" option below. 

    All working members are asked to wear clean clothes, are required to wash hands frequently and practice safe food handling in accordance with applicable health codes and Co-op policies. Clean aprons and hats are provided.

    Once you have selected your date and time please scroll down to the bottom of the page and click SUBMIT. Please note that you can only submit one selection at a time. If you select "fill again" after you submit your first shift your name and email will already be entered. 

     

  • In-store Working Shifts

    There are shifts available seven days a week. (Please note that two 2-hour shifts per month are required to maintain a single working membership. If you would like to work four consecutive hours please sign up for the 9am and the 11am shifts on the same day.) These shifts may involve date checking dairy and other products, cleaning, pricing/stocking, packaging, refilling teas/spices/bulk containers, or any other tasks as needed. Some heavy lifting may be required. Select an available date/time, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the form to complete the "captcha" and submit.

  • Register

    Register shifts require special training. Please do not sign up for this shift if you have not been trained. If the store is very busy during your shift a staff member may take over register duty and you may be asked to step aside and do other jobs in the store. If the store is quiet you will fill your time with small cleaning and stocking tasks around the store. Select an available date/time, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the form to complete the "captcha" and submit.

  • Cheese Cutting

    Cheese cutting requires special training. Please do not sign up for this shift unless you have been trained. There are three 2-hour shifts available each week during our busiest periods. This shift consists of cutting, packaging, labeling and shelving cheese. Select an available date/time, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the form to complete the "captcha" and submit.
