Congregation Etz Hayim’s Board of Directors has started to plan for our reopening as society regains more control over the coronavirus pandemic. A Re-Opening Committee is reviewing recommendations from the CDC and the Virginia Department of Health, and orders from the governor to determine the safest course of action for Etz Hayim. We invite you to participate in this survey so we can better understand the desires of the congregation. We are considering a phased reopening. This survey pertains to holding religious services and other gatherings. For religious services, we focus on Thursday morning minyan, Friday night Shabbat, and Saturday morning Shabbat. Decisions on other services, and especially high holy day services, will be made at a later date.
