Hill Country Animal Hospital requires that all boarding pets be current by the hospital’s standards on all vaccinations. Hill Country Animal Hospital will update any vaccine and/or parasite screen, if my pet is not current. It is my responsibility to provide the hospital with a copy of my pet’s most recent vaccination history, if the hospital is not my normal veterinarian. I will be financially responsible for any vaccinations given to my pet that are required for boarding.
DOGS- All dogs are required to be current on their:
- Rabies, DHLPP, Bivalent Influenza, Bordetella, and Intestinal Parasite Screen. Hill Country Animal Hospital does require the Bordetella biannually.
- Although the Heartworm Test is not required for boarding, it is highly recommended.
CATS- All cats are required to be current on their:
- Rabies and FVRCP. Although the Leukemia vaccine and Intestinal Parasite Exam are not required for boarding, they are highly recommended.
Hill Country Animal Hospital requires that all pets be free of external parasites (fleas and ticks) when admitted for boarding. If external parasites are found on my pet, they will be treated upon admission at the owner’s expense.
Hill Country Animal Hospital allows treats for my pet, however, no toys are permitted to be left with my pet, as they can be choking hazards.
Hill Country Animal Hospital will provide all the bedding needed for my pet. Hill Country Animal Hospital does not accept personal bedding and is not responsible for any items or personal belongings that are lost or damaged.
I have read and understand the policy of boarding charges. Should I pick up after 12:00pm, I will incur an additional boarding charge for that day unless I have requested a bath or groom, in which case I would be charged accordingly.
All fees for boarding and all related services are due upon pickup.
FIRE SUPPRESSION- As allowed by Texas Law, Hill Country Animal Hospital is not equipped with an on-site fire suppression sprinkler system in the Boarding area.
