COVID-19 Salon Policy & Client Information

In light of the current situation regarding Covid-19, recent UK Government guidelines and our own Risk Assessment, we have had to put in place some stringent rules to ensure that we all stay safe.  Please read this information carefully and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us on 0113 2880155 or email us at info@cristalbeauty.co.uk.

To relieve any worries you may have, we want you to know that we have tightened our already strict hygiene policies and performed the necessary risk assessments.  All treatment rooms and any associated areas will be thoroughly cleaned with a medical grade disinfectant after each client.  Most items we will be using will be disposable, those that are not, will be disinfected between every appointment. 

• Please do not attend your appointment if you have had any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 2 weeks.  These are:- a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.  Reference to, (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/). 
• Please do not attend your appointment if you have been in contact with anyone who has had these symptoms in the last 2 weeks.
• Please do not attend if you have recently returned from a country on the UK Governments current 'Quarantine' list unless you have observed the mandatory quarantine period.

24 hours before your appointment, please complete the Covid-19 Client Questionnaire/Consent Form below and return this to us by pressing the SUBMIT button at the end of the questionnaire. 

Unfortunately, your treatment cannot take place until we receive this.

Attending your Appointment

• Only you will be able to enter, unfortunately no friends/partners/children/babies will be allowed into the Salon.
• If you have your own face mask, please bring this with you. Alternatively, we can provide one for you at a cost of 50p.
• Please bring as little as possible with you, for example, where possible, no handbags or coats. Please wear minimal jewellery including watch, as this allows for more effective hand hygiene.
• As timings are going to be so important due to the increased level of cleaning between appointments, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment.
• On arrival at the Salon, please enter and use the Touch Free Hand Sanitiser located just inside the door. Please then wait in the foyer (if someone is already waiting when you arrive, please give them time to move upstairs before you enter). When we are certain that social distancing can be maintained, you will be asked to come upstairs and to use the hand washing facilities.
• If your appointment is for nails, please use the nail brush provided, to clean under your nails.
• Although disinfected between Clients, please try not to touch the door handles, hand rails etc unless absolutely necessary.
• Wherever possible, payment should be made by card rather than cash.

Please be patient with us.  For now, this is the new normal but we have tried our best to ensure that the Salon feels as welcoming and relaxing as ever, whilst providing a safe environment for all.

I understand that the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organisation and that COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread by person-to-person contact; and, as a result, social distancing is recommended. This is not entirely possible with my proposed treatment; however, I am satisfied that safety measures are in place to minimise risk as much as possible, and client contact will be kept to an absolute minimum. Given the nature of the virus, I understand there is a risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 by virtue of proceeding with this treatment. I hereby acknowledge and assume the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 through this treatment, and I give my permission to proceed. I understand the COVID-19 virus has a long incubation period during which carriers of the virus may not show symptoms and can still be highly contagious. I understand that COVID-19 can cause additional health risks, some of which may not currently be known at this time, in addition to those risks associated with the beauty treatment. I have been given or can ask for the option to defer my treatment to a later date, however, I understand all the potential risks, including but not limited to, the potential short-term and long-term complications related to COVID-19, and I would like to proceed with my desired treatment. I confirm that I am not suffering with any of the listed symptoms of COVID-19.
