     FOR PLAYERS

This Club is supporting the FA’s Respect Programme to ensure football can be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and positive environment.

You, the Players are the most important people in the Sport, playing for the team, and for the team to win, is the most fundamental part of the game.

As a Player, you have a big part to play, that’s why The FA and this Club are asking every player to follow a Respect Code of Conduct.

    I Will:

Always do my best, make every effort to develop my own sporting abilities.
Play fairly - I won’t cheat, complain or waste time.
Set a positive example for others.
Always have regard for the best interests of the game.
Never be rude to my team-mates, the opposition, the referee, spectators or my own manager or coach.
    Never use inappropriate language.
Do what the Referee tells me, accept his decisions,
Show respect towards all Match Officials.
Shake hands with the other team, and with the Referee at the end of the game.
Listen to my Team Manager or Coach and respect what he/she says.
Show due respect towards the Team Officials of the Opposition.
Respect the interest of the Spectators.
Talk to someone I trust, for example my parents or Club Welfare Officer if I am unhappy about anything within my team or at my Club.

I understand that if I do not follow the Code, action may be taken.

I agree to read the Club Constitution, which is available on the Club Website.

I confirm I have read this Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it.

    CODE OF CONDUCT

     FOR PARENTS AND SPECTATORS

This Club is supporting the FA’s Respect Programme to ensure football can be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and positive environment.

We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in the game. You have a great influence on a child’s enjoyment & success in football.

Play your part and observe The FA’s Respect Code of Conduct for Parents, Guardians and Spectators at all times.

    I will:

Remain outside the field of play and behind the Designated Spectators area (where provided).
Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour.
Always respect the match officials’ decisions.
Applaud effort and good play as well as success in a game.

In addition, when attending Youth games I will:

Remember that children play for fun.
Let the Coaches do their job, do not confuse the players by telling them what to do.
Encourage the players to Respect the opposition and match officials.
Never criticise a player for making a mistake – matches are for learning too.

I understand that breaches of the Code may result in action being taken by my Club, County FA and /or The FA.

I agree to read the Club Constitution, which is available from the Club Website.

I confirm that I have read this Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it.

If both Parents/Carers/Guardians are to attend matches, we ask that both sign this agreement.
