In Store Lessons - after July 6th. With the understanding that for safety we may have to move to only Zoom for a period of time. If I choose to have in store lessons - I can always change to Zoom.
I prefer to have my lessons via Zoom for now.
General Overview Of Our Lesson Program
The student only has to commit to one month at a time. We prorate if you join during the month.
Each week they would meet for the same 30 minute time slot.
Our tuition is now sent out via email - through Square Invoice. It is due on the 1st of the month. We charge for however many lessons there are on the designated day of the week - we do not charge for lesson closure days (you will be given all the date closures). All lesson payments are non-refundable & may not be rolled into the next month.
There is a one time enrollment fee of $25. Unless stated otherwise.
Active lesson students receive a discount throughout the store.
Starting July 6th, 2020 we will have the option for lessons in the store. The student will always have the option to take them via Zoom.
Cancellation & Makeup Policy:
We offer one "makeup lesson" per month. In order to utilize the one makeup lesson per month - we must have 24 hour notice provided.

Students will not be refunded for missed lessons.
Starting July 6th, 2020 we will have the option for lessons in the store. The student will always have the option to take them via Zoom.
Absent Teacher: In the event that your teacher is ill or can not teach the lesson - we will provide you with the following options:
a.)They will have a qualified sub teacher fill in for them - we strive to give you advanced notice on this.
b.) If a sub can not be provided we will simply credit you a lesson to be used towards the next month.
c.) Or the teacher may offer you a different time - but if that is an inconvenience to your schedule we will credit you the lesson.
Discontinuing From Lessons:
We ask that you request a "withdrawal form". We need to have the form filled out by the 20th of the month in order to not be billed for the following month. We do not prorate tuition for the last month's lessons.
Photo Waiver: If you would like you or your child to participate in student of the month, picture day, recitals, newsletters, social media, website, please check yes or no.
Yes pictures can be taken.
No pictures can not be taken but I understand if I or my child participates in a public store event like a recital - that pictures may be taken.
Open Door Policy
Parents are always allowed to sit in on lessons. Due to Covid 19 - the door can be left open and you can sit right outside the door so that we can maintain social distancing.
Orange Teacher Communicator Slip:
Each student will be provided with an orange slip that has what the student worked on during the lesson & what the homework is. This is great for adult students too.
This also provides little reminders or messages.

This is something that has been extremely effective and takes almost no time to fill out or read as a parent - so take advantage!
Injuries:
Parents, legal guardians of minors, students & adult students waive the right to any legal action for injury sustained on store property resulting from normal lesson activity or any other activity conducted by the student or their siblings before, during, or after lesson time.
Pickup Up & Dropping Off
The Player's Bench Music assumes no responsibility for children who are left unaccompanied.
We recommend that children are walked in and walked out directly from the store.
Snow Days:
We determine on the day and call all contacts if we decide to have lessons on Zoom vs. in person that day.
We ask that all students be willing to use Zoom. Any active lesson student now is already doing so. Player's Bench is always willing to provide a demo and practice Zoom lesson. Examples listed below:
Pandemic
Snow Day
Store Closure Day
Student or someone in students family is ill
Student does not have transportation day of the lesson
Student is out of town for business or vacation
