(Although exams may finish before this date, Wednesday 29th June is the exam boards’ contingency date for which all students should be available for)

Is the student travelling as an UNACCOMPANIED MINOR?

If a student is travelling as an UNACCOMPANIED MINOR, they will need to handed over directly to the airline by a member of Rossall staff and collected from the airline upon their return.

This is normally a PAID for service that is mainly used for younger students.

It has to be arranged directly with the airline in advance.

Please do not tick the box unless the service has been booked with the airline.

If a student is able to check-in on their own, please do not tick the box

There are no unaccompanied minor services for students aged 18 or over and with most airlines, this service is often not available for those over 15 years of age.

Easyjet, Ryanair and many other "low-cost" airlines do not offer this service.

Please note that all students arriving at Manchester Airport should report to the Information Desk at Terminal 1 where Rossall School Staff and/or Drivers will be waiting to transport students back to Rossall.

Please note that students staying the UK are not permitted to leave school until the school day has finished unless prior arrangements have been made with the School (this is usually 4.00pm at the End of Half Term and 12.30pm at the End of Term)
STAYING IN THE UK (Guardian)

Please provide details of where the student is staying during the half term or holiday. This should be the guardian listed on the student's record confirmed by the parent on the Guardian Information Form submitted at the admissions stage. Please note that the following accommodation types listed are not acceptable accommodation providers for a pupil to reside at outside of Rossall during holidays:

-      Hotels, BnBs, Air BnBs

-      Self-catering accommodation without a guardian or parent present

-      University Accommodation
