Green Box To-Go: Simply Borrow, Use, and Return for a delicious closed-loop dining experience. Our program works in four easy steps!
- Sign Up. Customers can sign up to become Green Box To-Go members by paying a one-time sign-up fee. There are two membership tiers: the Individual Plan and the Family Plan. Customers can sign up for a membership using a QR code at the participating restaurant.
- In the Individual Plan, a one-time membership fee of $20 will allow a member to borrow and return one takeout container at a time, borrowing and returning indefinitely.
- In the Family plan, a one-time membership fee of $40 will allow a member to borrow and return up to four takeout containers at a time, borrowing and returning indefinitely.
- Borrow & Use. Once a customer signs up, they may begin to borrow containers! Customers simply request their meal in a Green Box To-Go and present a Green Box token to the restaurant staff. The staff member will accept the token and give them their container.
- Return. After the customer is done with their meal, they rinse out the container. When they are ready to return, they simply visit any Green Box To-Go restaurant and drop off their old container in the deposit bin. Customers get a stamp on their loyalty card for each box returned, and can exchange their old container for either a new Green Box token or a new container.
- The cycle continues! The restaurants will collect the takeout containers from the deposit box and bring them to be sanitized and restocked. This reduces the number of single-use containers needed to fulfil to-go orders, reducing waste and saving businesses money.
