  • Woodhaven Second Chance Rehoming, AKA Woodhaven Boarding Kennels and Cattery, is Based in South Milford, Leeds LS25 5BX. We are the contracted Selby District and Leeds City Council stray holding kennels. We also take in dogs needing help, every dog gets the best of care.  Every dog rehomed will be spayed or neutered have first and second vaccinations, will be microchipped, flead, wormed and insured for 5 week with Agria which is free of charge. £50 deposit is required when reserving your dog, £25 of which is non refundable and will be to cover administration costs. **OUR STANDARD ADOPTION FEE IS £450**. The first two weeks of adoption is classed as your cooling off period, if within the two weeks you decide to return the dog to us you will receive a full refund minus the £25 nonrefundable deposit.

Please be advised, the dog you are applying for may have meetings booked before your interest was registered, this meaning the dog may no longer be available, please check our facebook page for information on dogs that have been reserved or adopted. Unless a reservation is placed on a dog it is still available for futher viewings with other potential adopters. A dog can not be reserved without a meeting. Woodhaven reserves to right to refuse any application.

I understand that during the meeting of the animal, Woodhaven staff will make you aware of any previous undesired behaviours, and it is your responsibility to take this information into account when deciding on an animals suitability, and behaving in a suitable manner around the animal with the information given. On taking the animal away from woodhaven, including while on a trial walk, you are accepting you are confident and adequently experienced to deal with behaviours explained to you and that there is risk of injury from any animal regardless of breed of species. I understand that i assume full responsibility for the welfare of this pet from the date of adoption, and that every animal adopted from Woodhaven has undergone a thorough health check before adoption, any ongoing illness or injury present at the time of adoption is the sole responsibility of the new owner.  Please date below as way of confirmation.
