    The Maintenance Service Technician is responsible for properly completing routine maintenance and repairs along with making units rent ready in a timely manner. You must be able to properly complete tasks without supervision.

    Treat residents, staff members and vendors with respect following the Golden Rule - treat others the way you want to be treated.

    Full Time and Part Time positions - Drama FREE, Drug Free Work Zone

    SALARY: $20 to $35 hour
              depending on skills, ability, and work history.
                     (paid weekly)

    HOURS: Weekday Business Hours
                  (higher rate for outside business hours)

    PAID HOLIDAYS (full time)

    HEALTH INSURANCE: full-time only

    REQUIREMENTS:
    - Honest, Trustworthy, and Loyal
    - Dependable, Wants to Work, Punctual, friendly, positive attitude
    - Drama Free and Drug Free
    - Vehicle and Tools
    - Can use Smart Phone and Tablet Apps and Zoom Meetings
    - basic computer skills, emails, calendars, etc.
    - valid driver's license and insurance
    - reliable vehicle
    - ability to work without direct supervision as a Team player
    - completes assigned tasks/work orders properly in timely manner
    - communicate with proof to Resident Manager of tenant chargeable repairs.
    - Timesheet - properly complete detailed list of work performed on each property on weekly timesheet
    - reports to Maintenance Supervisor including problems
    - Help in controlling expenses
    - attends and completes workshops and certifications as needed/required 

    • Full Time preferred, Part Time is okay too
    • Experienced in Repairs & Turnovers in Single Family & Apartments
    • MUST Be Dependable, Dedicated, Honest and Loyal
    • Must Be DRAMA FREE and Drug Free
    • Must have vehicle and tools
    • Basic computer skills, email, texts, using a smart phone
    • Know how to use camera to take photos on smart phone

    STEP 1: Part-Time - You will be assigned maintenance/repair requests (Work Orders). This is a simple way for you to get used to Vista and it gives Vista an opportunity to see you in action and measure your results. This may last up to 30 days.

    STEP 2: Once you have achieved above average to excellent results, you can be assigned  "Tenant Turnovers" This is where a tenant has moved out and you will make the unit "rent ready" using our 159 point Rent Ready Checklist.
