3. Post Orders
1.When you arrive on site make sure you are 15 minutes early so you can call dispatch @ 401-725-1500 press #0.
If no one answers and the voicemail picks up just leave your name, number, the date when you started your shift, and the name of the site you're currently checking in for.
Guard must be posted in the lobby so they can be seen and also see anyone that may enter the building. Especially guests.
3. All guests must stop at the desk and sign in. Guests also must provide room number and the name of the person(s) living there. (Please check resident list provided to you to make sure that whatever name the guest provides matches up)
4. Approximately every 60 to 90 minutes you are to perform a check of the perimeter. With your notepad and pen document what times you do these checks so you can log them into your daily activity report or D.A.R.
5. In the event that there is an emergency requiring police, fire,and/or rescue do your best to get badge numbers from police officers, license plate numbers, make, model, color of vehicles involved(if any) which hospital they could be taking an individual to, witness names and numbers, and most importantly photos and/or videos. **MAKE SURE TO NOTIFY DISPATCH IMMEDIATELY**
6. There is no loitering in the lobby areas. If residents and/or guests stop and speak to one another in the passing, give them a minute or two then politely move them along. *NO LOITERING*
7. The last 15 minutes of your shift you need to take all your notes that you wrote down during your shift and fill out the required mandatory Daily Activity Report. It should be done in chronological order from when you arrived to the end of your shift. The daily activity report should consist of the everyday normal operations of your shift. When you arrived, what time you took your post, every time you went and checked the perimeter, every time you had to remind someone to put their mask on, when guests arrived/left, basically if I read your D.A.R I should be able to visualize what your shift was like. Now if there was an incident that did require any emergency services you must fill out a separate incident report for each and every incident. THESE REPORTS MUST BE DONE BEFORE YOU CLOCK OUT OF YOUR SHIFT.**
3. SOCIAL DISTANCING/FACIAL COVERINGS
1. It was announced by the state of Rhode Island's Governor Gina Raimondo that all citizens must wear a facial covering when outside and especially when they enter a place of business. Also, the residents of their respective buildings were also told by the building administrators that the wearing of the facial coverings was mandatory to move about their buildings in the common area.
2. We are not ENFORCERS of wearing these masks. We simply remind them ONCE if they do not have it on to please go grab it. If they get verbally abusive just ignore them, document exactly what time it was, exactly what was saId, and where the incident took place so the Housing Authority can pull up the footage and have video proof of the incident.
As a guard of Nes Solutions you are required at all times to have on your facial masks that we provide to you. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!
@ @ OVERALL,OUR JOB AS A SECURITY GUARD IS TO BE AN EXPERT WITNESS. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST OBSERVE AND REPORT.
