Restless Dance Theatre is Australia’s leading dance theatre company working with artists with and without disability to collaboratively create outstanding inclusive dance theatre. The dancers create original and remarkable work that extends the definition of what dance is.
What to expect in the workshop:
The workshop involves creating movement in a safe and fun environment where the participant’s ideas become the dance. No experience is necessary, just the desire to take part. Workshops are open to people with and without disability and are led by highly experienced tutors in an accessible space.

Improved fitness, coordination, range of movement, sensory integration, and body awareness.

Creative processes enable participants to express and process complex emotions and learn to manage thoughts and feelings in a supported space.

Being deeply engaged in creative activity requires the participants to develop their intellectual capacities including working memory, imagination, generation of ideas and concepts, and sequencing events.

Participants’ powers of creativity and imagination are stimulated.
