Be Better Yoga
COVID-19 Protocols
WE ARE EXCITED TO HAVE
RE-OPENED SAFELY.
THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING US!
HERE ARE THE NEW COVID PROTOCOLS FOR BE BETTER YOGA
Since we have returned physically to the Be Better yoga studio we have reopened our physical space as well as set up Zoom and Facebook Live options to attend our classes virtually. Those that wish to physically attend the classes in-house can rest assured our studio is sanitized before and after every class by not only staff but teachers and fellow students as well. Going forward, Be Better will post two class options for most classes, Virtual and Studio. Whether you prefer in studio or virtual we do ask that you reserve your spot up 24 hours in advanced of the class on our schedule (if possible).
If you wish to virtually attend a Zoom class, please register on the Be Better website at least 15-30 minutes ahead of the class start time. We will email you the Zoom link to join the class. If you wish to watch the Facebook Live option (which is not available for all classes) we do ask that if you enjoy the class and want to support the program that you donate (Any monetary amount is appreciated).
Virtual classes have become available and we ask that you not attend a physical class if:
You have a fever - 14 days from the time you experience a fever AND at least 7 days after the last day you had a fever (without taking medication to reduce fever).
Have been exposed directly to someone with confirmed COVID-19
Live with someone who has a fever
Live with someone who was exposed to someone with confirmed COVID-19 and it hasn’t been 14 days since they have recovered from COVID-19
Studio Guidelines and Procedures
There is now an additional waiver you will have to sign digitally on our website when you enter the studio for the first time to take in person classes.
We ask that you not enter the studio with a temperature higher than 99 degrees. We reserve the right to take your temperature.
We have adopted a No Loitering in the lobby policy according to state guidelines.
Spaces for mats are marked on the floor by black tape and are 6 feet apart.
In person classes will be BY APPOINTMENT and LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE only (please email bebetterri@gmail.com if having trouble with the login and/or booking a class). Any amount of people can join the class virtually.
We will be wearing masks in the common areas before and after class. You must bring and wear a mask in the common areas as well as during class.
Please use hand sanitizer when you enter, and when you leave the studio (or wash your hands in the restroom).
Some live classes will not be streamed virtually.
Studio space and common areas are completely sanitized using EPA guidelines and EPA approved cleaners. The studio has constant air circulation via our newly installed air unit.
Our props will be sanitized before and after sessions and we will provide students with EPA approved cleaning sprays and wipes to sanitize them as well after they use them. Please leave your personal props at home. We ask that you only bring your mat and water bottle into the studio and secure all other belongings in the trunk of your car.
Also expect to practice social distance and personal etiquette in regards to coughs and sneezing as well as just basic interactions with other students.
We look forward to safely and conscientiously move back towards normalcy. We know it will take time and patience but for those who are still unsure about attending class with others we have created SAFE ZONE YOGA which allows students to ‘rent’ the entire studio space for an hour to practice alone (or with a trusted companion) using whatever form or digital device aid or watch our virtual library (during non class hours).
Thank you for your interest and continued support.
