The COVID-19 pandemic has created many changes in all our lives. Here at GMHCN, two of those changes are the state budget cuts we recently experienced, and the postponement of our Annual Summer Conference to February of 2021.
It is at our Annual Summer Conference that Georgia's peers vote on GMHCN's top five priorities each year, and that will continue; however, as we respond now to the recent and immediate budget cuts, and prepare our advocacy efforts for Georgia's next legislative session, we believe it is important to hear from Georgia's behavioral health community about what is important to you. We want to know which services, trainings, and supports are most important to you, your familiy, and community as we move forward. We want to know what is working well in Georgia, and what could be better.
The survey will be open through August 31, 2020. We encourage you to share this survey with anyone you know who receives or provides behavioral health support in Georgia.
