There may be tests in this process and you may be required to undertake a working interview. If you use continuation sheets for any of the sections, please number the sheets to match the numbering on the application form.
During this process your application will be thoroughly scrutinised. Online searches may be conducted on you as part of our safer recruitment processes. If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be asked questions about how to safeguard children. If there seem to be any anomalies in the information you have provided, these will be discussed. We need to be fully confident of your suitability and therefore history during selection. Applicants are expected to provide proof of their identification and at least two satisfactory references. We request to seek these references before your interview, if you are shortlisted. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your references. We will also check your suitability to work with us by obtaining an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service). Only candidates with clear checks will be offered a position. We also ask you to complete a Disqualification Declaration Form, which will only be reviewed if you are shortlisted.

If you are successful, this form will be retained for the duration of your employment. If you are unsuccessful, this form will be retained for three months after applying for a position with us.
