FAQs
Here are some items to consider when planning your outdoor event (these are not items that we offer, however we may be able to help recommend companies if needed, just let us know).
- Consider spraying the area for bugs and ticks prior to your wedding. You may also prefer using tiki torches, candles, etc.
- Parking - Do you have enough parking at your location? Should you consider a valet service to park cars or a shuttle service from another location?
- Driving - Did you know Uber offers an event service where you can plan ahead for rides to be available to your guests? They have more information on their website. https://www.uber.com/us/en/business/uber-events/
- Stay Hydrated - Especially in the hot summer months, make sure to have plenty of grab-and-go water stations available to your guests.
- Neighborhood Watch - You know your neighbors best, maybe it would be a good idea to give them a heads up that your event will be happening so they aren't taken by surprise and you don't have any unwanted calls coming your way.
- Know the Rules - Are there any noise ordinances in your town? This will help determine when you should end your wedding or at least when the music needs to be lowered.
- Children - If you're having children at your event, make sure the property is child-proof. Make sure pools have locked gates, they are watched around fire pits, etc. It may be a good idea to provide them with a play/craft/game area to help keep them occupied. Consider hiring childcare to help keep an eye on them so their parent/s can enjoy themselves.
