Foster Dogs are never allowed to be off leash on walks, going to leash free parks, socializing off leash with other dogs or being dropped off at Doggy Day Care. How do you plan on exercising the dog?

Fosters are asked to transport the Dog to vet appointments in either Kitchener, Hamilton,Brantford, Port Perry, Mississauga or Oakville for wellness check or vaccines. Therefore we ask that all fosters have their own reliable vehicle and can accommodate these appointments. Please list the times you are available to accommodate these appointments.

If for any reason the Fostering does not workout, it may take us some time to find another foster before we can arrange a pick up and another foster home. At no point will you relocate the dog to another home, shelter or pound. Please indicate that you understand this dog will stay in your care until we can safely rehome it.

Foster Volunteers
Each volunteer must be over the age of 18 with the consent of the primary home owner to foster a dog or proof from a landlord that pets are allowed in the residence. Anyone that is looking to Foster to Adopt must have fostered at least 3 times with the rescue before we allow adoption to take place.
