If you can’t complete a climb, what coloured holds are there to enable you to get to a safe distance before you fall from the wall?*

Just jump from where you are.Any holds that feel comfortable, but specifically the pink holds.

That's correct - the PINK holds are intended for down-climbing from the top of the wall.

What is the preferable method of getting down from the climb?*

Down-climbing until you get to a safe distance to jump.Jump from the top."Do a flip!"

If you need to fall from a climb, what technique should you employ to ensure you land safely?*

Twist as you jump off the wall.The safe falling technique.

That's correct, use the safe falling technique to land safely.

What is the safe falling technique?*

Falling straight without twisting, landing on both feet at the same time, bending knees and riding it down onto your back with your arms folded.Flopping onto the mats.Landing face first.

If you are injured at the gym, what should you do?*

Tell one of the staff.Keep it to yourself.

If you are not climbing, where should you be standing?*

In the blue lined safe zone at Kent Town or off of the mats completely.Underneath other climbers.

What should you be using at all times when you’re climbing on the wall?*

Climbing shoes.Bare feet.Thongs.Runners.

Before climbing, what should you do?*

Remove everything from your pockets. Check to ensure there is no-one underneath you or climbing on a route that crosses paths with the climb you’re about to attempt.Climb without looking out for anything.
