(Updated Feb 25th, 2022)
As no doubt you'll be aware by now, on 24th Feb 2022 almost all the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted by the government.
However, as Soft Tissue Therapy is a 'close contact' profession, I still want to reassure all of my clients that their health safety is of huge importance to me.
As per Public Health Advice, and that of my regulatory body (The ISRM) I will continue to do the following:
-wear a mask during the winter virus season (November to March).
-during the summer season (April to October), I will wear a mask whenever a client requests it, should they feel in any way vulnerable.
-space out 30mins between each appointment to allow time to ventilate and clean the therapy room
FOR ALL CLIENTS - Please could i ask that you do the following:
Unless a chaperone, parent or carer is required, please come on your own as there is no waiting room for others to wait.
Please bring your own water to drink.
Please bring your own tissues to use.
Please bring your own face-mask if you are planning to wear one (especially during the winter virus season of November to March).
Please bring your own hand-sanitiser, although I do have some if needed.
Before arrival
If you or someone you live with develops symptoms of Covid-19 by the time of the appointment, please contact me before coming for your treatment.
Before entering
Arriving - I'd be grateful if you could arrive no more than 5 minutes early and also be prompt for your appointment as I am unable to run over time.
At the entrance, please both ring and knock and I will come to the door. It is at this point that you can choose to put on your face-mask or face-covering. I will be wearing mine during the 'winter virus' months of November to March.
Cleaning hands
Please bring your own hand sanitiser to use if you have it. Please sanitise your hands before entering, and try not to touch anything on the way in. I do have sanitiser available in the treatment room if needed. It is advisable to also sanitise your hands before leaving.
Toilet facilities
It is recommended where possible to not use the toilet facilities at our premises. However, if you do need to, there will be cleaning products inside the toilet area for you to use before and after using the toilet and basin. Please wash your hands well afterwards, and place any used paper-towel in the bin provided.
THANK YOU!
I'm very much looking forward to welcoming you!
Warmest regards,
