Anglo American - Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ)

This Responsible Sourcing Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) supports suppliers in identifying potential risk.

The SAQ consolidates guidance from the International Labour Organisation (ILO), various Country legal requirements, the Anglo American Sustainability Mining Plan, best practice industry guidance and input from an extensive community of stakeholders.

At minimum, this SAQ must be completed for the final production facility which provides goods and/or services to Anglo American and the De Beers Group of Companies (De Beers). We do not employ a “pass or fail” approach when evaluating your responses to this SAQ.

Anglo American has recently become the focus of phishing and procurement related scams. Unfortunately, fraudsters pretending to be Anglo American have tried to extract personal information, goods or money via requests for quotations (RFQ’s) or similar purchase requests. We are taking every precaution to prevent these attempts but we do ask that you remain vigilant and contact us immediately if you are unsure of any request to share sensitive or important information.

How to complete this SAQ
The SAQ is divided into 4 main parts. Depending on the nature of the goods or services you supply to Anglo American and De Beers, you will be required to complete multiple parts.
