THE PUPPY PLAYCARE CENTER
Grooming Liability Release and Waiver
We care about the safety and wellbeing of all pets. We want to assure you that we will make every effort to make your pet's grooming visit as pleasant as possible.
If your pet has any history of aggression, biting, or scratching, we require that you notify us before grooming. We may need to use a muzzle or other safe restraints to ensure the safety of the groomer, and others in the grooming area. In any case, we reserve the right to refuse to groom an aggressive pet. If your has has non-aggressive behavior issues, we request you let us know so we can attempt to work through them with your pet.
Some pets have areas of their bodies where they do not like to be touched and may not tolerate being groomed in such an area. If it becomes apparent to the groomer that grooming your pet in that area is causing high levels of stress for your pet, then only the portions of your pet's body that will not put undue stress on your pet, or endanger the groomer, will be groomed.
If during grooming it becomes apparent that your pet is not able to be groomed due to aggression, or any other health or behavior issue, we will contact you and let you know of the situation. If necessary, we will discontinue grooming and charge you only for the price of the services that have been completed (ie: nail trimming, bath, etc), if any. If least half of a full groom/haircut has been completed, the full price of the groom will be charged.
Please be aware that we strive to avoid any accidents during the grooming procedure. However, pets have a greater chance of injury during grooming, and since animals can be unpredictable, accidents can happen. Minor injuries such as nicks from clippers, scissors or toenail trimmers may result if your pet does not respond to the groomer and remain still during the grooming, or toenail trimming procedures.
If your pet has any allergies or medical conditions such as epilepsy, seizures, diabetes, arthritis, separation anxiety, asthma, cardiovascular issues, etc., it is of utmost importance that you make The Puppy Playcare Center and the groomer aware of such medical and health issues so that we can take the necessary steps to provide for your pet's safety and comfort.
