Water Quality Monitoring Interest
Help us keep our river safe for everyone! We are looking for volunteers to join the 2026 James River Watch season and help monitor water quality across the watershed. Sign up today to receive the latest updates and information on upcoming training dates.

Our monitoring takes place weekly from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Volunteers collect samples on Thursdays (10 am – 2 pm) and perform quick data reporting on Fridays (approx. 30 minutes). Whether you can help every week or just a few times a summer, we will work with your schedule to find the perfect volunteer dates for you.
