• Perspective Host Family Questionnaire & Information

    When you become a Nesher Delegation host family, you will:

    • create memories and build lifelong friendships and partnerships
    • enrich your family as you bring a little bit of Israel into your home
    • become an Ambassador for our Broward County/Nesher Partnership
    • **meet & even host guests with similar occupation/professions as you and work together to build a cohesive bond in your area of expertise

    Responsibilities of being a host family:

    • host one to two guests in your home for approximately 2-7 days
    • attend host family meetings
    • attend orientation sessions
    • adhere to the rules of the Jewish Agency
    • expose the Nesher delegation to the life of an American Jew in Broward County
    • if the member of the delegation does not have a car, drop them off at their respective meeting place
    • attend scheduled activities – this might be dinners or social events
    • accommodate guests with medical concerns, pet/food/environmental allergies: gluten, nuts, diabetes
    • Most importantly - get to know your guest, as they will become part of your family for a very long time. Enjoy the time that they are with you!!
