As leaders we are constantly faced with challenges.  Some are small and niggly, others are gigantic and scary, but the success we strive for is always on the other side of them.

When looking at the hurdles we face in our lives it is often useful to hear from and understand how others have approached their own hurdles and what they've learnt.  We never know where inspiration will come from, but I've often found my best ideas have come from listening to other leaders.

So whether it's a small hurdle like how you handle the flow of email or a big hurdle like discovering your partner has run off with your company, let us know how you dealt with it in under 4 minutes.  

Your approach will not just inspire others, it is likely to attract people to you.  It could be new customers, staff, investors, media or others. So take action now, fill in this form, hit record, hit submit and I look forward to having you on the show!

Please don't over think this, but equally, the better and more clear your answer the more value the audience will get and the more likely it is to resonate with them. So it is worth taking a few minutes to jot down on some paper the key points you want to get across.

1 - Go into a quiet room and turn off all notifications
2 - The question you are answering is:

"What was a hurdle you have faced as a leader, how did you handle it and what are the key learnings you got from it?"

3 - Hit the 'Record' button below.  You need to start your answer with the first part of the question i.e. 'A hurdle I have faced as a leader...'

Editor: Please do actually answer the question and don't jump straight into an advert for your business, it robs the listener and reflects badly on you.  Being authentic definitely resonates better with our listeners than trying to pitch your service.

4 - Talk for no less than 2 minutes and no more than 4 minutes.
5 - Don't listen back to it - everyone hates listening to themselves ;)

Editor: Actually - of course you can listen back to it.  In fact, if you make a mistake, or it doesn't sound loud enough (too much background noise etc.) you can always just hit record again and redo.  Then when you're happy:

6 - Hit Submit.  That's it! Our audio elves are excitedly waiting for your file and will then work their magic to turn it into a professional sounding podcast that will share your wisdom with the world.

7 - We will email you the link and blast it out over social media as soon as it is done.  As soon as you hit submit below you will get a confirmation email (check your promotions tab, spam folder, down the back of the sofa, wherever until you find it.  Email is the only way we can let you know when you're live so do please look out for and read emails from 'Callum' (at least until your podcast is live, then you can drop it like it's hot!)

NOTE (and promise): The podcast editor elf will have the final decision on whether to publish the podcast, it might get rejected because of poor audio, too much background noise, answer is mumbled, accent is too strong etc. etc. Please don't take this personally. However, my promise to you is that even if we don't publish it, I will send you the final copy for your own personal use.
