Our New Members corresponder will connect with you through your virtual class journey. This process and correspondence also makes it possible to become a member if you are not in the Rockford, IL region.

    We are full gospel and non-denominational 

    VISION

    To Empower the world with the Good news of Jesus Christ starting with the greater Rockford, IL Region & then to the Nations. To win the lost, set the captives free and break the power of the enemy off their life.

    MISSION

    To preach the Empowering word of God through-out the world. To teach and train believers how to live according to the Heavenly Kingdom.

    STATEMENT OF FAITH (BELIEFS)

    We Believe…

    1.      The Word of God, which is the Holy Bible, is the Supreme Authority. And it‘s all truth.

    2.      There is only one God. Which exist in the trinity of The Father, The Son - Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit.

    3.      The deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His virgin birth: He was resurrected and He sits at the right hand of the Father, His future return to earth, to receive His church, and be with Him for eternity.

    4.      Salvation is by the blood of Jesus, through repentance, by faith, and spending eternity in Heaven only comes through Jesus Christ. He is the only Way.

    5.      Water Baptism by immersion and Baby Dedication (non-immersion); in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    6.      The Baptism of Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues, the Gifts of Holy Spirit, and the Power of God; are all very important parts of the Born-Again Believer’s life.

    7.      The Five-Fold Ministry offices: The Apostles, The Prophets, The Evangelist, The Pastors, and The Teachers should all be active and are all needed in the local church today for the Glory of God. This is significant and embraced in the local church assembly of Empowering Word Christian Center.

    8.      As well as believing in the Five-Fold Ministry offices, we also believe that Christians also have an assignment to be effective & successful Christians in the Market place for the Glory of God.  This is significant and embraced in the local church assembly of Empowering Word Christian Center.

    9.      Divine Healing of the body by way of Jesus Christ shed blood on the Cross.

    10.  Observing the Lords Supper by taking communion.

    11.  Marriage is holy & between a natural born male-man & natural born female-woman.

    12. The Local Church assembly is used by God for the assembly and equipping of His people, for the maturing of His people, for the work of the ministry. And that tithe and offerings should be given to your local church, the place where God has called you to receive His Word, be equipped, and to grow spiritually.
