  • All You Need To Know If You Want To Book With Mackenzie

Thanks for wanting to work with me!
  • Quick Intro-

I am a gentle handed custom tattooer who loves tattooing all types of subjects. With a style that is very realistic, but uses high contrast, I enjoy pushing myself to create illustrative scenes as well as bold designs that will last on the skin and look good as they stand the test of time. I create every tattoo based on your wants and create them uniquely which means they are a one-of-a-kind work of art! All of this takes a great deal of time so that is why I charge a strict hourly rate of $175 ($1000 day rate) and appreciate tips based on the amount of care and time I put into all aspects of the project!

    Consults-

After the initial email is sent, I will reach out to you ASAP. I typically answer emails within a few days to a week or so. Please be patient! If I decide to do the project or you've been on the waitlist and the time has finally come, I will book you for a consultation which is free. We can consult via email/ video/ whatever works with you. When we consult about the tattoo,*What we discuss is what I will base your design on. I expect you to have a fairly concrete idea of what you want in your head. And an understanding of what artistic freedom means if you give that. If you do not convey specifics with me during the consultation or before I start designing, I cannot guarentee they will be part of the tattoo. *

    Deposits-

VENMO- @Mackenzie-Creedon (use emoji as description) PAYPAL- mackenziecreedon@yahoo.com (friends and family not goods and services)

At the end of the consult, we will book the date of the tattoo where I will require a non-refundable deposit of at least $100 to $300 (demending on how long the tattoo will take). That money will go towards the total of the tattoo session if it is a one day session, or it will carry over as future deposits for multi-day sessions. This deposit is what allows me to start drawing. I do not draw or design for free. If for some reason you cannot make the appointment and give me more than 72 hours to reschedule, you will not lose your deposit and it will follow you as long as you reschedule in a timely manner. If you cancel last minute (less than 72 hours before the appointment) or you do not show up, your deposit it forfeited and you will need to put another one down to book another appointment. The only way the deposit is applied to the total of the tattoo is if the tattoo happens!

***I also have the right to cancel on you! This is very very rare but if you do not follow the above rules and expectations, I do not have to tattoo you.***

The week before the tattoo appointment-

I create the tattoo design before our appointment. During the week of your appointment, I will email you with a preliminary sketch/ rough draft to make the direction of the design known to you and invite any collaboration to occur between us. Once I get the green light from you, and you confirm the direction, I will finalize the design. If any major redraws occur after I get a confirmation from you, I may need another deposit to continue.

    Tattooing-

My minimum is $200. The day of the tattoo, we will have very little time to tweak the design. But we will have plenty of time to make the design we agreed upon fit your body in a way we both find perfect. I will never force you to get the tattoo unless you are completely comfortable. During the tattoo, please come ready for the tattoo which includes payment and a day free of other obligations to accomodate for as long as the tattoo needs to be completed. Also, eat beforehand and be well rested. We supply snacks and drinks and aftercare for full day clients. Research what you will need for aftercare and be ready to give your body the rest and care needed to heal correctly. If you have any other questions I am an email away! I look forward to working with you!

    Accessibility-

We are unfortunately on the second level of an old building and the stairs are very steep. If you need assistance or if this prohibits you from getting a tattoo, please let me know and I will do my best to find a solution.
