I or on behalf of my ward, team, crew, group, gym or academy, agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Agree to adopt the Parkour South Africa (henceforth “PKSA”) Memorandum and Articles of Association as the sole national governing body of L’Art du Displacement, Parkour, and Free Running as described and defined in the PKSA Memorandum and Articles of Association within the Republic of South Africa.
- That in representation of my ward, or our organisation’s, or company’s members to act in accordance with the guidelines, policies, and rules of PKSA as set out in the PKSA Memorandum and Articles of Association and the Law of the Republic of South Africa.
- To abide by the anti-doping regulations as stipulated and changed from time to time by the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) in accordance with the act of the South African Parliament, Act No.14 of 1997.
- That PKSA operates as a non-profit volunteer organisation that relies on our contribution of goodwill and support, of whichever means available, from us for PKSA to provide the best quality of service to its members.
- PKSA agrees to support local businesses and community based parkour enterprises and entities in accordance with its Mandate and Memorandum and Articles.
- A copy of the PKSA Memorandum and Articles of Association is available to me or my organisation’s members upon request from the Parkour South Africa board or from their website www.parkoursa.co.za.
- PKSA reserves the right to accept or reject my/our membership at the discretion of the PKSA board.
- To uphold the Objects, Priciples, and Values, and Memorandum and Articles of PKSA.
- I hereby waive and abandon all and any claims or otherwise which I and those I represent might have against PKSA, out of whatever cause, in particular for any injuries, damages, loss of property, and loss of life which may be sustained wherever PKSA may be training, whether a PKSA representative, trainer or member is in attendance or not.
- I/We understand and acknowledge the risks and dangers of damage to or loss of property, physical injury and/or death associated with Parkour/ L’Art du Displacement/Free running and waive and abandon any and all claims or otherwise which I might have against PKSA or its members for any injuries or damages to or loss of property which I might sustain or cause as the result of training or using the facilities, training equipment, and buildings or structures.
- The Parkour South Africa Mandate:
- “Parkour South Africa serves to govern, develop and unite the Parkour, Freerunning and L’Art du Displacement (ADD) community in South Africa. Parkour South Africa aims to provide monitoring of and access to the safe and ethical practice of Parkour, Freerunning, and ADD through guidance, support and communication to all those eager to learn. Parkour South Africa will guide and help nurture the spirit of the sport, as well as oversee the quality of the services provided by our Members and affiliates.”
- PKSA reserves the right to change these terms of agreement and membership in accordance with the PKSA Memorandum and Articles of Association.
