The chesed fund was found with the purpose of empowering others to do more good. Our basic offering has, and always will be, free and our premium plans are also the most competitive in the market. 

This, to ensure that more of the funds raised remain in the hands of the fundraisers and organizations that need them the most. This was also our philosophy behind being the first Jewish crowdfunding platform that allowed users to sign up and start fundraising in a completely automated way.

To date, we have raised over $35 million for worthy causes, while continuously developing our platform with innovative features and a user friendly experience throughout. We pride ourselves in stellar customer support through every step of the campaign. 

Features

Our platform allows users to quickly create an account, add their payment info, and create their first crowdfunding campaign. This simplicity and accessability, where an organization can go from signup to raising funds in as little as 15 minutes, is the core value with which we operate. 

Our premium plan offers several additional features specifically geared towards organizations looking to maximize their online fundraising:

• Recurring donations - donors can pledge recurring donations to your cause, creating a recurring and dependable cash flow stream for your ongoing operational needs.
• White label - premium campaigns can add their own logo to the top of their campaign, change the domain to one of their choosing, and remove the tip box that normally prompts donors to support The Chesed Fund. 
• Donor pays processing - you can offer donors to cover the credit card processing fees associated with their donation, increasing the donation amount and your bottom line. 
• Register external donations - premium campaigns can add donations submitted offline, such as wire transfers or checks. This allows these donations to be counted towards your total fundraising goal, inspiring others to give while also keeping your records more organized. 
• Phone Donations - allow users to dial a number and make a payment over the phone by simplify referencing your unique campaign ID. Perfect for donors who do not have an internet connection. 
• Teams with custom fundraising goals - allow ambassadors of your organization to create their own crowdfunding teams that contribute towards your overall goal. They can set their own goal amount, and recieve credit for their contribution to your campaign's success. 

 

Optional Campaign Management Services

Included in our account management offering is an array of services that can be applied to your specific needs as necessary. Some of these tasks will be handled by the account manager directly, and others may need to be delegated to specialists as necessary. 

Services include:

• Marketing Strategy and Messaging - helping you identify the best angle with which to present your cause, ways to effectively launch and promote your cause, and utilizing your existing resources to their fullest potential. 
  Copywriting - creating polished and emotionally impactful written texts to accompany your campaign, from the campaign title and description to advertising and marketing collateral. 
• Graphics - designing graphics for both the campaign itself and any accompanying ads, emails, and social media creatives that may be required. 
• Email marketing - email marketing can be an extremely effective way to maximize your existing network and reach new potential customers. You’ll get assistance setting up your account if needed, importing and segmenting your list, setting up emails, and purchasing additional lists if necessary.
• Social media - if you have an existing social media account that you would like to promote yourself on, or would like to purchase posts on other accounts, your account manager can assist with creating and scheduling the posts in a way that best reaches your target audience.
• Paid advertising - you may choose to advertise on the Jewish Content Network or Google and Facebook. We can assist you with effectively allocating your budget, setting up your campaigns, and managing your stats for maximum return. 

Terms

• 2.9% credit card processing fees
• 3% Chesed Fund Premium fees
• Campaign management services (optional) - Initial intake and consultation $250, subsequent rate of $75 an hour.
• Any fees for creative services provided to a campaign will automatically be deducted from funds raised by a campaign. Raised funds will begin paying out to your account once all owed fees have been settled.
