We thank you for supporting a UNC student/alum who is pursuing a distinguished national or international scholarship! Applicants for these awards must submit an application to our office to be endorsed for the award. If the applicant is endorsed, they will then be eligible to apply for the award. You may need to resubmit your letter directly to the award's national application site later on. Letters of recommendation are crucial to the success of the student's application.

- Please submit your letter as a PDF document.

- Your letter of recommendation should be dated, signed, and on letterhead. Electronic letterhead and electronic signatures are permitted, as are scans of letters on original letterhead with original signatures.

- Please write your letter as if you are writing to the scholarship/opportunity itself. 

- Please do not submit a letter that is longer than two pages.
