There is no fee for this fun ride.  Ride will begin at Scott Alley beside Postmaster’s Grill.  Start will be at 5:30PM.  Open to riders of all ages.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Safety equipment is encouraged for all riders.

All riders must sign waiver to participate.  Anyone under 18 yrs of age must have signature of parent or guardian.

 

Waiver & Release of Liability

 

I, and my heirs, in consideration of my participation in the Camden 10K Bike Fun Ride on August 7th at Camden, AR through town and along The Trace,  hereby release Postmaster’s Grill, the City of Camden, the Camden A&P Commission, its officers, employees and agents, and any other people officially connected with this event, from any and all liability for damage to or loss of personal property, sickness or injury from whatever source, legal entanglements, imprisonment, death, or loss of money, which might occur while participating in this event.  Specifically, I release said persons from any liability or responsibility for my physical condition and for the presence and actions of any other participants.  I am aware of the risks of participation, which include, but are not limited to, the possibility of sprained muscles and ligaments, broken bones and fatigue. I hereby state that I am in sufficient physical condition to accept a rigorous level of physical activity. I understand that participation in this program is strictly voluntary and I freely chose to participate. I understand that the City of Camden does not provide medical coverage for me. I do agree to receive any medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during this event.  I verify that I will be responsible for any medical costs I incur as a result of my participation. This Release of Liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent of permissible under applicable law.  I hereby certify that I have read this document and understand it’s content.  I am aware that this is a release of liability and I am signing it of my own free will, without any threats, intimidation or coercion.

The undersigned parent or legal guardian does hereby represent that he/she is, in fact, acting in such capacity and is fully responsible and agrees to save and hold harmless and indemnify each and all of the parties listed above from all liability, loss, costs, claims or damages whatsoever that may be imposed on said parties because of any defect in or lack of such capacity to release said parties on behalf of the minor.
