The applicant nonprofit agency understands and agrees that if The Junior League of Austin selects its proposal as a Community Project for the 2021-2022 League year, the agency will allow member(s) of The Junior League of Austin, designated by The Junior League of Austin, to attend all board meetings. This JLA member shall not be a member of the board, will not be able to vote, and shall not be required to perform any Board obligations (i.e. fundraising or committee obligations).
The nonprofit agency, at all times during the term of its project partnership with The Junior League of Austin, agrees to purchase and maintain in full force, at the nonprofit's sole cost and expense, a comprehensive general liability insurance policy issued by a Texas licensed insurance company that is reasonable and satisfactory to The Junior League of Austin, within limits of at least $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence for death, bodily injury and/or damage to property; with The Junior League of Austin, its members, officers, directors, and employees named as additional insured.
The nonprofit agency is required to recognize The Junior League of Austin in any publicity for the project for which The Junior League of Austin provides volunteers and funding or volunteers only. The nonprofit agency shall provide The Junior League of Austin with a copy of all promotional material.
The nonprofit agency acknowledges and affirms that all information provided is true and correct to the best of its knowledge; that supporting documentation will be made available to The Junior League of Austin upon reasonable request, and the falsification of any information provided may result in denial of the application and/or a determination of ineligibility to receive grant funds in future years.
