Your Safety is Our First Priority
We know that everyone, including our Pastors, Elders, and staff/leadership, are excited to come back as soon as possible. As we return, we can expect that our fellowship with each other will at first look a little different, at least for a while. But, like the rest of the community, once we reach the later phases of our reopening, we anticipate that our in-person gatherings will feel the same as before the virus.
To keep everyone as safe as possible, our plans call for specific precautions. We are completely disinfecting and sanitizing our facility. We have modified those parts of our services that require physical contact, such as passing the offering buckets and greeting each other with handshakes or hugs. And we have temporarily stopped the transporation provided through EWCC van ministry until further notice. Online registration will be required to attend in-person.
Our prayer is that even though you will see more face masks and a lot more hand sanitizer when you return in person, you will still feel at home. Because you are!
In closing, we understand that some members and visitors may not yet feel comfortable returning to in-person services. And that’s okay. If this describes you, please know that we love you, support you, and welcome you to continue joining us online. If we can assist you while at home, please call our church office at 815-243-0724 or email ewcc.office@empoweringword.net
