Description: Description: Looking for a fun sewing project that also helps others? Join us on Sunday to sew pillowcases for people facing homelessness. When living in a temporary housing situation, it can be really special to have something handmade just for you. During this program, you'll learn more about the issue of homelessness in our communities and what you can do to make a difference, watch a demonstration, then make a pillowcase for a homeless community member. This virtual program is part of Kaleigh's plan to raise awareness about homelessness within the community to earn her Silver Award.
Materials:
1 piece of fabric 27 inches long, standard width (about 44 inches)*
