The Executive Secretary's primary function is to manage the membership program for the SDSRT, including maintenance and archiving of membership information, processing membership applications, sending emails and newsletters to members as requested by the Board of Directors, and providing administrative support to the Board of Directors as directed. They must become familiar with the membership software used by the SDSRT, and must be comfortable with basic word processing and spreadsheet skills. The Executive Secretary must also be able to set up virtual meetings on behalf of the SDSRT and communicate meeting instructions to the membership.
The Executive Secretary is also responsible for assisting the webmaster in updating the SDSRT website as needed and must be able to provide back up to the Webmaster as needed.
The Executive Secretary must have time to commit to duties and requests of the Board of Directors and the SDSRT Membership. Estimated time commitment is 2-3 hours per week with October through April as the busiest months.
Rate of Pay is fixed at $100 per month or $1,200 annually.
