If treatment is recommended, keeping your scheduled appointments is very important. Regular appointments will help you get the most out of your therapy, while missing appointments disrupts the progress of your treatment goals. Therefore, we ask that you make your treatment a priority in your life.

    1. NO SHOW. Client does not show for a scheduled appointment and did not call ahead of time to cancel or reschedule. Client is allowed to have ONE no show. Following a no show, the client's Primary Counselor will process the circumstances of the no show with the client. This must be done BEFORE the client returns for the next scheduled appointment. ARC Manor's policy is to discharge a client after a second no show occurs. The discharge will be "Noncompliant with Facility Rules."

    2. RESCHEDULE. Client calls before their scheduled appointment time needing to cancel the appointment and makes an effort to reschedule the appointment. Client has a reason for canceling that is acceptable to the Primary Counselor. It is recommended that client call at least 1/2 hour prior to the appointment and every attempt should be made to reschedule the client appointment within the same week.

    3. CANCEL. Client calls before their scheduled appointment time needing to cancel their appointment. The CLIENT must call; if anyone else calls to cancel the appointment, ARC Manor reserves the right to consider this a NO SHOW appointment. The Client or Primary Counselor is not able to reschedule the appointment within the same week. The cancellation should occur at least 1/2 hour prior to the appointment and the Primary Counselor must approve that the reason for canceling is acceptable. Acceptable reasons for canceling an appointment would include: transportation barrier, illness (in which a doctor's excuse may be required), death in the family, work conflict, court date, or illness of a child residing with the client.

Any cancellation that does NOT have prior approval from the Primary Counselor will be counted as a NO SHOW. The Primary Counselor must process the circumstances of the first unapproved cancel prior to client returning to their next scheduled appointment. The client may be subject to discharge if they have more than THREE cancellations throughout the treatment experience. If this occurs, the discharge will be noted as "Noncompliant with Facility Rules".

  • Orientation

The purpose of this document is to explain to you items that you need to know in order to best benefit from services offered by ARC Manor.

    1. TREATMENT EPISODES: Because there have been changes over the years in the way that drug and alcohol treatment is funded, it is important that you realize that readmissions to treatment may be limited depending on funding resources. If you need any public dollars from the Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission to help pay for your treatment, you are only eligible for two inpatient treatment experiences within a one year period. This  means that you need to make the most of each treatment experience.

    2. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: At the time that your intake was scheduled, ARC Manor's admissions office explained to you that you might be liable for a part or all of the expense of being in treatment. Prior to your initial evaluation, your financial liability was calculated and you were notified of your personal fiscal responsibility (if any).

    3. FEE COLLECTION: Each time that you arrive for a session, you will check in at the reception area. At that time, you are responsible for payment of any fees for that date of service. You will receive a receipt for any payments made.

Entering treatment is a big commitment and not one that should be made lightly. Please use the time during your evaluation to be clear on what treatment is about and what will be expected of you. This is the best way to ensure that you receive all of the benefits from your treatment experience.
