    Emergency Assistance Application

The Mid Michigan College Foundation’s Student Emergency Assistance Fund provides on-time grants to help students cover urgent, unexpected financial emergencies that would otherwise prevent students from continuing their coursework at Mid. This fund is made possible through donor generosity. This fund is not intended to cover expected or routine costs of attendance (such as tuition, textbooks, past-due balances, or monthly bills), nor is it a substitute for financial aid. Students who need assistance with standard educational expenses should contact Financial Aid to review available options. The fund is not a substitute for financial aid and is not intended to assist with anticipated or routine expenses, such as car repairs, rent, or other bills, except when the student has experienced a catastrophic situation leading to the inability to pay these bills. The fund is designed to help students mitigate short-term emergency situations, not to fully resolve long-term financial challenges.Typically, a student may receive up to $500 per calendar year. Funding is limited and may be exhausted before the end of the academic year.
