Cascade Cannabis Association is pleased to partner on a fundraiser with Cannabis Workers Coalition, whose mission is to break down barriers to increase diversity in the cannabis workforce. Proceeds will be used to help break down barriers of entry into the cannabis space for the BIPOC community in Central Oregon.

“Entry Level Scholarships” (donation range $25-100) will help bring people of color into the industry by covering the cost of a marijuana handler permit and provide resources in getting those permits.

“Professional Development Scholarships” (donation range $250-500) will help those looking to gain additional professional and business skill sets in the cannabis space by covering the cost the recipient in attending and traveling to a 2021 cannabis business conference such as the CCC (Cannabis Collaborative Conference) or RAD (Retail and Dispensary Expo) in Portland.
