We know this is a hard time for many of our neighbors. Our promise for years has been that we don't ever want finances to be the reason a student doesn't participate. Now is no different.

ASK FOR WHAT YOU NEED: We do not require documentation because we trust you and we hope that you trust us too. Please look at the programming that your child is interested in, tell us what you need to make it happen, and we'll do everything we can to award your requested amount.

FINANCES IN CRISIS: If your family finances are in crisis, we will try to do more for you. Please see that specific question below.

"WHY DID YOU ASK ME THAT QUESTION?": We are not trying to be nosy. Some of your answers to questions in this scholarship form are critical to help us raise funds to cover scholarship awards. No personal details will be shared, but quotes from your answers help funders see that real individuals and real need is behind the funding request.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? After the 2025-26 contract deadline, we will compile all the scholarship requests and registrations. It is our intent to award what you request, if we can. We will send a scholarship award verification e-mail which will confirm your award percentage and balance due, and confirm payment options.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD WANTS TO ADD PROGRAMMING AFTER I HAVE ALREADY FILLED THIS FORM OUT? No problem. The percentage you applied for will be applied to subsequent programming.

YC2 and TRYPOsphere new registrants: Please submit this form within a day or two of your registration form.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY HOUSEHOLD FINANCES CHANGE AFTER I FILL THIS OUT? Please know that if things in your household change during the year (for better or worse!) please be in touch! We can revise your account at any time. And we hope that when things turn around for you in the future, you will consider paying it forward with a donation to the scholarship fund to help another family.

ARE THERE ANY REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE? Scholarship students must adhere to standard program requirements like attendance, preparation, and deportment. Scholarship assistance can be renewed for students continuing in the organization. Scholarship students/families will be asked to write thank you letters to those who underwrite the scholarship program.
