I understand that any cat/kitten under the rescue is property of Paws of Hope NYC. I also understand that the only one authorized to make medical decisions on behalf of the cat/kitten is the rescue organization. If I would like to adopt the cat/kitten I am fostering, I must notify Gissell before the pet is listed on Petfinder. I must fill out an adoption application, and it has to be approved by the founder of the organization. Also, the adoption fee will have to be submitted in full before finalizing any adoption. I am responsible for food and litter. Additional expenses are ONLY reimbursed if the rescue previously authorized it in writing. I understand that if I have a pet(s) at home, I need to keep them separate from resident pets during the initial quarantine period. I am responsible for any related expenses if instructions are not followed. I have to return the cat(s) kitten(s) at the end of the foster period unless discussed otherwise. Paws of Hope NYC retains ownership of the cats until the adoption is finalized. I understand that Paws of Hope NYC makes the final decision. I also understand that if I fail to return the cat(s) and/or kitten(s) upon request, it will be considered stolen property. A police report will be filed immediately, and I will be responsible for any court costs and related fees. I understand that my signature binds me and anyone in our household to this agreement.*
