YIZKOR REMEMBRANCES
This year our Yizkor remembrances will be incorporated into a new Agudas Achim Viewbook. This Viewbook is a way for us to connect with one another, which is especially important this year when we will not be together in shul in the normal way for High Holiday services. The Agudas Achim Viewbook will include the lists of High Holiday Honorees and pictures, messages from the congregation’s leadership, and suggestions for making the holiday more meaningful at home. Of course, our personal Yizkor remembrances and yahrzeit calendar will remain a major focus.
The Agudas Achim Viewbook, including Yizkor remembrances and yahrzeits, will be included in the “High Holidays in a Bag” which every Agudas family will receive prior to Rosh Hashanah.
As in the past, we encourage you to include not only names, but also brief personal remembrances about the people we love who are no longer with us.In this way, their memories will live on not just by family and friends, but by all who read the booklet. Remembrances should be no longer than two sentences.
