1. The Applicant shall hold the City of Fridley, its officers, consultants, attorneys, and agents harmless from any and all claims arising from or in connection with the COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program or its application, including but not limited to, any legal or actual violations of any State or Federal laws.
2. The Applicant recognizes and agrees that the City of Fridley retains absolute authority and discretion to decide whether or not to accept or deny any particular application, and that all expenditures, obligations, costs, fees, or liabilities incurred by the Applicant in connection with the application are incurred by the Applicant at its sole risk and expense.
3. The Applicant acknowledges that they have read the City of Fridley COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program guidelines and understands that if the application is approved for funding, the applicant business shall be required to enter into a loan agreement prior to the disbursement of any funds.
4. Under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act certain information you provide to the City or an entity working on the City’s behalf may be private or nonpublic data. The City is collecting this data in order to determine your eligibility for the Fridley COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program. You may voluntarily choose not to provide some or all of this private or nonpublic data, but doing so will limit your ability to participate in this grant program. Failure to provide the information requested in this application will result in the City being unable to process your grant request. The information you provide will be shared only with City staff and staff of the Central Minnesota Development Company in order to process your grant application, determine eligibility in the grant program, and to finalize grant awards. The City will maintain the data in accordance with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.
