Troop Product Manager Responsibility Agreement
Term of Appointment: August 2024 - June 2025
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES ACCEPTANCE: By checking each box below, I confirm that I have read, understand, and accept each responsibility of the Troop Product Manager role.

Confirm that Girl Scouts are registered for the 2024-2025 membership year to participate in Financial Literacy Programs.
Update contact information in Fall and Cookie Online Systems.
Complete all required trainings, read all materials, observe all deadlines, and follow all procedures as directed by the Service Unit and Council.
Hold a Troop meeting to inform caregivers about Financial Literacy Programs.
Distribute all program materials to girls/adults. Materials should only be distributed after permission forms have been signed and turned in.
Work with outstanding balance caregivers to assist girl to participate in Fall and Cookie Program online only.
Set Troop goals with girls and parents for Fall & Cookie Program based on goals and last year’s achievements.
Assist with questions about Financial Literacy Programs.
Support/promote any other GSMW or GSUSA financial literacy related events/contests/activities.
Review all reports/emails sent by GSMW and SUPMs. Respond in a timely manner and include Troop Leaders in all SUPM correspondence (if applicable).
Opt-in to receive emails from Fall and Cookie Online Systems. If at any point you are opted-out, Council will restore your opt-in status to help you receive important information.

QUALIFICATIONS
Organized and computer literate -
Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines, and organize cookie delivery site(s). Have access to Google Chrome/Firefox browser, Excel, and email capabilities.
Communication -
Communicate deadlines and financial requirements to parents in a timely manner.
Financial -
Aptitude for inventory, distribution, and reconciliation.

Troop Product Manager Agreement
Term of Appointment: August 2024 - June 2025
I have read the Troop Product Manager General Responsibilities, agree to accept this volunteer position and will fulfill the duties required to the best of my ability.
In the event I am unable to fulfill this role, I will immediately notify my Troop Leader and Service Unit Product Manager (SUPM). I will return all records pertaining to the 2024 - 2025 GSMW Financial Literacy Programs to my SUPM.
I am currently a registered member of Girl Scouts of the USA for the 2024 - 2025 Membership Year.
Note
: Membership in Girl Scouts of the USA is required for volunteer status.
I have completed and passed GSMW’s Criminal Background Check.
I understand GSMW will share my contact information with my SUPM and caregivers in my Troop.
In my role, if contacted by the media for any reason I will forward all inquiries to GSMW to respond unless given specific permission from Council.
I understand that I am responsible to report problems and/or outstanding balances for Troops, caregivers or other individuals to GSMW with appropriate paperwork by established deadlines.
I understand GSMW is releasing restricted data to me for use in my Girl Scout volunteer capacity. This includes, but is not limited to, addresses, phone numbers, and emails. Any unauthorized disclosure/distribution of such data for any reason other than Girl Scout business is prohibited.
The information I have provided is true. I understand that falsification or significant omissions of information may be considered reason for dismissal.
