Instructions:
1. The "I" grade requires an agreement between the instructor and the student about the completion of course requirements. To be eligible to receive an "I" grade, students must have successfully completed at least 70 percent of course requirements during the term.
2. Course requirements must be completed by the end of the following term for which the "I" grade is received. This requirement applies to Summer, Fall, and Winter Terms. If the student receives an "I" for Spring Term, the agreement allows the student until the end of the following Fall Term to complete the course requirements. The Instructor may require completion of course requirements before the end of the following term. Upon completion of course requirements, the instructor will assign a grade using the OCCC Grade Change Procedures.
3. If the course requirements are not completed by the end of the following term Summer, Fall, Winter, or by end of the following Fall Term, The grade of "I" will be changed to the grade assigned below for the actual course requirements that have been completed to date. If a grade is not assigned below, the student will receive an "F" for the course or an "NP" on a course that is available for the pass/no pass option.
4. The student must not re-enroll in this course while an "I" grade is pending.
